Chronic form

In chronic gastritis, the stomach lining becomes inflamed repeatedly or over a long period of time. Symptoms include upper abdominal pain, bloating, vomiting, loss of appetite, and upset stomach.

Chamomile extracts are taken between periods of exacerbation of the disease:

  • To prepare an alcoholic tincture, 1 part of chamomile flowers is poured with 10 parts of alcohol and insisted for 3 weeks. Drink 20 drops a day (the tincture should be diluted with water).Treatment of gastritis with folk remedies with high / low acidity
  • For gastritis, chamomile tea is also recommended: 3 g of dried flowers are poured with a glass of boiling water, insisted and drunk in small sips throughout the day.

In chronic gastritis, it is necessary to restore immunity, since this disease leads to its suppression. Improper secretion of stomach cells can cause anemia, oral ulceration, weakness, and headaches.

For the prevention of immunodeficiency states, you can use the recipes of traditional medicine.

  • 5 tbsp. l. a mixture made up of equal parts of peppermint, lemon balm, ivan-tea flowers and horse chestnut, pour 1 liter of boiling water and leave for 2 hours, strain. Take 1 tbsp. l. a day on an empty stomach.

Erosive form

This is one of the most dangerous forms of gastritis, as it is a pre-ulcer condition. In the absence of proper treatment, multiple erosions appear on the gastric mucosa, rapidly increasing in size.

Erosive gastritis is characterized by:

  • the spread of the inflammatory process over large areas of the mucous membrane;
  • thinning of the gastric epithelium;
  • the manifestation of symptoms of acute gastritis.

When gastritis has grown into an erosive form, the following recipe will be effective: rub 20 g of propolis on finely grated or chopped in another convenient way, pour cold milk and put on a slow Fire.

Heat until the substance is completely dissolved. It is recommended to drink a glass of such milk in the morning on an empty stomach. In this case, you should follow a strict diet and be under the supervision of a doctor.

Chewing propolis gives a great effect. At the same time, tissue regeneration occurs, the oral cavity is disinfected, teeth are strengthened, and the work of the gastrointestinal tract improves.

Focal gastritis

Focal gastritis is one of the forms of the disease in which one or more areas of the gastric mucosa are affected. Depending on the severity of the course and localization of inflammatory foci, the disease is divided into several types: from easily curable, for example, catarrhal, to the most dangerous stages, such as atrophic gastritis.

Treatment of gastritis with folk remedies should have an anti-inflammatory, enveloping and regenerating effect.

This effect is exerted by:

  • sea buckthorn berry oil;
  • decoctions of oats and flaxseeds;
  • potato and cabbage juices, juice from plantain or aloe leaves;
  • good results are obtained by taking infusions and teas from plantain, chamomile, calendula.Treatment of gastritis with folk remedies with high / low acidity

Burdock root is considered one of the most effective herbal remedies for the treatment of superficial forms of focal gastritis. In the spring, you can treat with a fresh root. To do this, eat 4-5 fresh young burdock roots for 2-3 weeks (daily).

Treatment is carried out in other seasons. For this, 1 tsp. l. the crushed root is poured with a glass of water, insisted overnight, in the morning, boiled over low heat for 5–7 minutes. and filter. The broth is drunk in 1/3 tbsp. 3 times a day for 15 minutes. before meals.

Reflux gastritis

With such gastritis, inflammation of the mucous membrane occurs due to the effect on it of alkaline contents with an admixture of bile that enters the stomach from the duodenum. Over time, this can lead to serious organ damage.

Reflux gastritis is a serious medical condition that requires medication combined with alternative medicine prescriptions.

For example, licorice is a traditional folk remedy used for all types of gastrointestinal diseases, including ulcers and acid reflux. The root of the plant contains a compound called glycyrrhizin, which is known for its soothing and strengthening effects on the stomach and the entire gastrointestinal tract.

It has been proven to have anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, antioxidant, anti-tumor, antimicrobial and antiviral properties. The exact dosage for the use of licorice should be selected individually, but it is known that patients begin to experience some improvement in their condition after 4-6 weeks with a daily intake of about 3 r root.

In addition, spices such as fennel and anise are believed to provide relief from gastritis.

Dandelion is an effective treatment for reflux gastritis. Fresh flowers of the plant are crushed, covered with sugar and left for a while. The released juice is squeezed out, diluted with water and drunk.

Atrophic and subatrophic gastritis

Atrophic gastritis most often has a chronic form of the course and is characterized by a decrease in the digestive function of the stomach, which increases with an exacerbation of the disease.

Symptoms:

  • sudden weakness after eating;
  • pale skin;
  • acute pain and heaviness in the abdomen, cramps;
  • loose stools without signs of poisoning.

If the diagnosis "atrophic gastritis" indicates irreversible processes, then the concept of "subatrophic" speaks of the initial stage of mucosal lesions (that is, these diagnoses characterize various stages diseases).

Due to the fact that this process takes place gradually, with proper and timely treatment subatrophic gastritis, it is possible to stop the atrophy of the gastric mucosa, which can no longer be done with atrophic. Despite the fact that gastroenterologists continue to use the term "subatrophic gastritis", modern medicine refers to it as an outdated definition.

The atrophic form of gastritis is a serious disease, therefore, the main therapy should be combined with alternative methods of treatment.

  • With atrophic gastritis, it is important to maintain a physiological level of acidity in the stomach. To do this, you can take cabbage juice, tomato and lemon juices in equal proportions, add an equal amount of drinking water to them and drink this composition before each meal. Juices of grapefruit, orange, currant, gooseberry, apricot increase acidity well.Treatment of gastritis with folk remedies with high / low acidity
  • For the treatment and prevention of atrophic gastritis in folk medicine, rosehip decoction is used (leaves and fruits of the plant are used). 1 tbsp. l. raw materials should be poured with a glass of boiling water, boiled for 10 minutes. and strain through cheesecloth so that the berry villi do not get caught. The resulting liquid is divided into 3 servings and taken before meals. After a month's course, you should take a 30-day break.
  • A herbal decoction can alleviate the condition with gastritis. For its preparation, it is necessary to make a phytocomposition: 100 g of St. John's wort, 50 g each of plantain leaves, angelica root, yarrow, peppermint, caraway seeds and 20 g of flaxseed. 1 hour l. raw materials should be poured with a glass of water, boiled. Let it brew for 10 minutes. and strain. The drink should be drunk warm one hour before meals.

Children's gastritis

Treatment of gastritis with folk remedies is also allowed for children. In children, gastritis is usually acute and with more severe symptoms. Self-medication is unacceptable, however, there are a number of recipes that are harmless to children's health offered by alternative medicine.

  • Children 2-3 hours Before meals, you can puree green apples without the skin.
  • Not only with gastritis, but also as a prophylaxis of the disease, it is useful to drink apple-carrot juice in the morning on an empty stomach (1: 1).
  • If a child is diagnosed with gastritis with high acidity, then you can give him 2 times a day for 1 tbsp. l. flower honey (in the absence of allergic reactions to this product). Honey can be mixed with warm milk.
  • With low acidity, cabbage juice helps. It should be consumed daily before meals, 50-100 ml 2 times a day.
  • An infusion of burdock root helps well (1 tsp. l. 1 tbsp is poured. boiling water, infused for 12 hours). Take 30 ml 4 times a day.

Superficial (non-atrophic) gastritis

With this form, the normal functioning of the glands remains, and the inflammation affects only the superficial layers of the mucous membrane. With timely treatment, the stomach tissue can be brought back to normal.

With superficial gastritis, alternative medicine recommends using infusions and decoctions of chamomile, celandine, peppermint, St. John's wort, raw quail eggs.

You can also apply:

  • honey and apple cider vinegar diluted in water;
  • ginger and turmeric;
  • to restore the balance of acidity, fresh potato and cabbage juices are recommended;
  • almond milk, green tea with honey are drunk to relieve irritation and reduce inflammation;
  • normalization of gas exchange is facilitated by the intake of caraway tincture.

Catarrhal gastritis

Simple, or catarrhal gastritis appears after 4-8 hours. after exposure to the gastric mucosa of the etiological factor: infection, unhealthy diet, irritating effect of certain drugs, for example, antibiotics, salicylates, bromides.

For catarrhal gastritis, oats are effective:

  1. For the preparation of the drug, 1 tbsp. Pour 1 liter of water over peeled oats and leave for 12 hours.Treatment of gastritis with folk remedies with high / low acidity
  2. Then put on low heat and cook for 30 minutes.
  3. Wrap up and let it brew for another 12 hours.
  4. The broth should be drunk three times a day before meals, 1/2 tbsp. The course of treatment is 1 month.

To fight gastritis requires an integrated and systematic approach. In addition to a thorough diagnosis, medical treatment will be required. However, the competent use of folk remedies as adjunctive therapy can increase the effectiveness of treatment and reduce the risk of complications.
