Often such discharge is simply not noticeable. However, the discharge in the first weeks of pregnancy, after conception, begins to change. This is due to hormonal changes in the female body and the beginning of the functioning of the embryo of the child.
Discharge during early pregnancy can be of different composition and color.
Even with ovulation, the discharge intensifies, becomes transparent and mucous.
Sexual arousal also leads to increased secretions.. These secretions do not bother a woman at all and do not have an unpleasant odor: they were provided for by nature itself to facilitate conception.
The very first discharge during pregnancy is a mixture of the sperm of your sexual partner with your vaginal discharge. This discharge, although it has an unpleasant odor, in fact does not pose any threat to either the mother or her child.
The color of the discharge during pregnancy can tell a lot about the state of a woman's body. For example, after conception, the fetus is implanted to the endometrium (membrane) of the uterus. Damage to the vessels of the uterine membrane leaves behind a slight bloody discharge. The woman may not even notice them, but an experienced doctor will immediately notice that you have implantation bleeding and that you are pregnant.
Brown discharge during early pregnancy usually makes women anxiously look for the cause of their occurrence.
First of all, do not panic, and try to follow all the advice and recommendations of your doctor.
Brown discharge can be caused by:
- frozen embryo;
- ectopic pregnancy;
- ectopia of the cervix;
- residual menstruation;
- miscarriage.
White discharge during pregnancy, constantly itching and having a curdled consistency means that you are likely to have an exacerbation of candidiasis (thrush). Treatment of candidiasis in this case can only be carried out by an experienced doctor. Only he will be able to prescribe the safe and effective drug that is needed at a given time.
If thrush during pregnancy is not cured in time, then this can lead to serious health complications in the child. In addition, thrush can affect the fetus during its passage through the natural birth canal.
In other words, thrush cannot be ignored.
And remember: self-medication is unacceptable!
Yellow discharge during pregnancy also cannot be ignored.
Exactly the same can occur with gonorrhea. That is why the doctor necessarily examines smears for STIs.
Sometimes a slight leakage of urine can give a yellow color to the discharge.
As you can see, a change in the color of discharge during early pregnancy does not mean the presence of a serious illness.
Be healthy!
