Composition and formulation
Preparations Nitriciumand Nitciumium OOE differ in composition and form of output. The first is in the form of tablets( 10 mg in
one tablet), which contains the active ingredient nicergoline( 10 mg) and impurity elements in the form of magnesium stearate, corn starch, povidone, lactose monohydrate and anhydrous colloidal crystalline substance.
Nitricium The DNA has the form of capsules. One capsule( 30 mg) contains 30 mg of active ingredient nicergoline and auxiliary compounds: macrogol 4000, talc, spherical sugar and polyacrylate dispersion.
Pharmacological profile
The drug promotes vasodilation and lowering blood pressure. In addition, the drug helps reduce blood viscosity and prevents the adhesion of platelets. With the systematic administration of this drug in patients, psychomotor functions are stabilized and memory is improved. People with a diagnosis of dementia have cognitive improvements already three months after starting the medication.
When the drug is taken, the process of migration of impulses along the nervous processes is normalized. Also, the active components of the Nitserium promote better metabolism of norepinephrine and dopamine, improve the bioelectric activity of the brain.
The medication is able to have antihypoxic and anti-ischemic effects. Affects the intercellular metabolism( regulation and processing of glucose and oxygen), takes part in the unification of proteins and nucleic acids.
The active substance nicergoline affects the cholinergic neuronal transmission by blocking the alpha-adrenergic receptors. Also, the components of the drug prevent the appearance of adrenaline-induced platelet adhesion.
After using the drug, its constituent components undergo rapid and complete absorption. Maximum serum radioactivity in blood plasma is noted three hours after admission( with the administration of therapeutic doses). The half-life in this case is an average of fifteen hours. When taking low doses of the drug, the highest level of radioactivity is observed in an hour and a half after its use.
The drug has a large volume of distribution in tissues( more than 105 liters). Its bioavailability after taking is only 5%.Low bioavailability is due to persistent metabolism and hepatic clearance. About 80% of the drug is excreted in the urine and 10-20% - with feces.

As one of the objectives of the appointment of the Nitserium is to improve the ability to focus attention, during the reception of this tool it is allowed to control the transport and other automated systems.
Interaction with other drugs
When combined with agents that act on blood coagulability, their effectiveness may vary. The drug is able to enhance the therapeutic effect of antihypertensive drugs. Reduces the effect of beta and alpha-adrenomimetics.
Nitserium is combined with Thioridazine, Risperidone and Haloperidol.
Parallel administration with Holstiramin and antacid agents results in incomplete absorption of nicergoline.
From the practice of using
The point of view of doctors and the feedback of patients who took the Nitricum.
Most often I prescribe Nitzerium for dementia and Parkinson's disease. For me, this drug showed a positive side. Outside effects are not so pronounced that it allows to undergo a full course of treatment, which is six months.
Kirill Andreevich, neurologist
I also think that this drug is effective and I assign it not only as a separate remedy, but as an additional( for example, with hypertension).
With regard to the manifestation of side effects, the degree of their severity mainly depends on the individual characteristics of the body, so dosage should be established only on an individual basis and after a complete examination.
Elena Vasilyevna, neurologist
I used this remedy for dementia. The doctor prescribed one dose a day for me. Improvements I felt only at the end of the therapeutic course. Side effects were observed at the beginning, then was drawn. In general, the medicine is not bad.
