  1. It is necessary to take the starting position, according to Dr. Butrimov's rules, and try to reach the chest with his chin, having made a slow inclination of the head.
  2. Hold the trunk vertically, try not to deviate. The view should be directed either slightly to the side, or strictly upward. Then slowly, the head leans back.
  3. Tilt the head to the left shoulder, while the upper edge of the right ear should be vertically on one line and the bottom edge of the left ear located at the shoulder. Repeat the movement to the right side.
  4. Stand in front of the wall and draw a point at the level of the nose. Then turn to the mark with the right side. Slowly turn your head to the point. Well, if it is at the level of the nose.

After passing this test complex, you need to evaluate the results.

  • if none of the exercises could be performed, then the osteochondrosis is already in the late stages and reached the vertebral column;
  • if two of the four exercises fail - the flexibility is weak;
  • if you succeeded in everything, but through the strength of , the state of things is on the "quartet", and the condition of the neck is good;
  • if all the exercises managed to be repeated without the efforts and problems of , the flexibility of the neck is excellent, and you can safely proceed to perform other sets of exercises.

The starting position for performing a set of exercises: stand exactly, legs are divorced to the width of the shoulders, hands on the belt. This position will be invariable throughout the gymnastic complex. Maximize your relaxation, focusing on the sensations in the cervical spine.

The therapeutic gymnastics of Dr. Butrimov for the cervical department includes the following exercises:

  1. From the starting position, pull the chin of the forehead, then return it back. Each movement should be smooth and slow. The task of the exercise is not to load the muscles, but to stretch them.
  2. Smoothly turn your head to the right and left, while pulling your chin along the shoulder line in the direction of the turn. Feel your cervical section and the way the vertebrae stretch.
  3. Make head turns to the right and left very slowly, while looking back( as if trying to see what is behind you).
  4. Pull the chin down, then slowly up. The back of the head deviates and the top of the head extends. Exercise for the cervical department
  5. Alternately tilt the head right and left, stretching the muscles and in no case making sudden movements.
  6. On the wall put a mark at the level of the nose. Turn to her left side. Turn your head to the left so that the mark remains at the level of the nose when you turn your head. Then turn right side and repeat the same on the right side.
  7. Slightly tilt the body, while making slow smooth turns of the head to the right and left. The view should be directed to the ceiling.
  8. When doing the next exercise, pull your head up as much as possible, stretching your muscles. Tilt the left side, while maximally pull the crown up. Then do the same movement on the right side.
  9. Tilt your head forward and make a turn to the right shoulder. In this place, maximally stretch the crown up. Next, make a head turn to the left shoulder. Pull your head in your shoulders. Repeat the exercise on both sides and pull in at full speed.
  10. To complete the gymnastics complex, an exercise is needed that will fix the effect. Put your hands on your shoulders. The head is pulled as much as possible upwards, thus pressing hands on shoulders, as if lowering them downwards.

Preventive course

Therapeutic course should preferably be repeated at least two to three times a day. The first results will be visible in two weeks.
