Sorbents based on natural components, unlike the previous ones, do not interact with the products of vital activity of pathogenic bacteria, but play the role of an adhesive tape for them. The medicine based on natural ingredients most often contains pectin, cellulose, cellulose, etc. Examples of these drugs are: Filtrum, Lactofiltrum, Zosterin, Extralact, etc.

The last group consists of preparations of different spectrum of action. They have been used since ancient times and, in addition to cleansing, have a nutritional effect on the body. Such drugs are: Polysorb, Smecta, etc.

3 Drugs for the treatment of various infections

For the complete elimination of the effects of intoxication the body shows the intake of special drugs aimed at fighting pathogens. These drugs represent a group of the most potent agents, which allow to quickly eliminate unpleasant symptoms, fill the lack of fluid and normalize the patient's general condition. Depending on the principle of action, this category of drugs is presented:

• antibiotics;
• by antiparasitic agents;
• with antiviral medicines.

The first group of drugs is distinguished by a strong effect, thanks to which not only pathogenic, but also beneficial bacteria are removed from the body. For this reason, antibiotics are most often prescribed for the treatment of the most severe forms of intestinal infections. For the appointment of antibiotics, confirmation of the bacterial source of infection is necessary - other pathogens are not susceptible to its action. It is recommended that special care be taken to prescribe antibiotics for children. In the treatment of small patients, drugs are used in the form of tablets or syrup. 4 Restoration of intestinal microflora

To maintain a weakened organism and prevent the development of a new pathology, an additional course of treatment aimed at restoring normal intestinal microflora is carried out.

Therapy is carried out by 2 groups of drugs: probiotics and prebiotics. The difference between these means is a different principle of action. For the first, the effect on the body is characterized by the addition of beneficial bacteria to the mucosa. With a positive course of the recovery process, they gradually take root and begin to share. The composition of the means can include both one and several crops. But these drugs are not compatible with the simultaneous administration of antibiotics. They are ineffective in case of severe infections. Therefore, for the rapid recovery of microflora, drugs containing several bacteria are most often used: Linex, Acylact, Bifilong, etc. These types of medications can be prescribed for any form of infection, to patients of all ages. The only restriction of the use of probiotics is the presence of the patient's violations of the protective system or allergies.

In this case, the administration of prebiotics, whose action is directed to stimulate the independent production of beneficial bacteria, is prescribed. They are a nutrient for the intestinal microflora and in addition to medicines are found in many foods: dairy foods, bakery products, cereals, etc. To maintain the health of the patient, the following prebiotic types are prescribed: Inulin, Prelax, Portalalac, Livolyuk, etc.

Prebiotics are not digested inupper part of the gastrointestinal tract and reach the lower portion in an unchanged form. For this reason, they are not prescribed to patients who suffer from diabetes mellitus, fructose intolerance, intestinal obstruction or bleeding
