Heel spur is a painful formation on the back of the heel that does not allow the patient to fall immediately to the entire foot, as a result of which the limb is deformed and the gait changes.
The heel spur is clearly visible on the radiograph, and after the diagnosis of the disease the patient is sent to physiotherapy.
But physiotherapy, as is well known, takes a long time, it is not shown to everyone and is quite expensive. It is much cheaper to undergo treatment with medical bile( 250 ml costs about 190-250 rubles), which is sold without a prescription and demonstrates good results. That is characteristic, before the beginning of treatment all the same it is necessary to consult with the expert.

Summary of the
Disease At the initial stages, heel spur is not manifested, and therefore, it is impossible to identify it in a timely manner. On the roentgenogram clearly visible neoplasm, the brightness and density of which are the same as in bone tissue. In this regard, it seems that this formation is just a continuation of the bone, which in appearance resembles a pointed spine.
Note! Spurs come in different sizes. By the intensity of pain, it is not always possible to determine the spur of what size a particular person has. Often, the length of the spine ranges from 0.3-1.1 cm. The sharp end of the spine points toward the fingers and is slightly curved upward.
Basics of
Medical bile is a preparation of animal origin, which is a liquid of dark yellow color. In pharmacies is sold mainly bear bile, although there are often found drugs from other animals. The remedy consists of ethyl alcohol, furacilin, antiseptics and various stabilizers.
Active in both folk and traditional medicine. With its help, treat diseases of the spine, arthrosis and, of course, heel spurs. By the way, in the case of spurs, treatment can be carried out at home.
The described drug acts as follows:
- relieves inflammation;
- locks the spur;
- relieves pain syndrome.
Sold in bottles of 100 ml or 250 ml, intended for external use. What is characteristic, before each use, the vial should be shaken carefully.
It is also worth noting that medical bile has effective warming properties, but when taken, as well as in the case of any other drug, there are contraindications. We will get acquainted with them.
Contraindications
The use of the drug is contraindicated in people who have:
- allergy;
- injury;
- skin damage;
- lymphadenitis.
In addition, it is forbidden to use in pediatrics - the child's skin is too delicate and sensitive, and bile can cause severe irritation.
Please note! The effectiveness of treatment will decrease if, along with medical bile, a person takes hops, clover, peony, thyme, licorice and parsley.
As for the side effects, here it is only one - on the compress site the skin turns red, but it passes right after the cessation of exposure. The next course can begin at least a month, not earlier.
Heel spur treatment of medical bile
The described agent is actively used in the heel spur, and the treatment itself is very effective. Some publications say that sometimes people get rid of the spur after four to five days after the beginning of the reception, but this raises doubts. Indeed, after four to five days, pain in walking may decrease, but to get rid of the heel spur, about twenty procedures are required.
There are several methods of treatment with the use of medical bile. We will get acquainted with them.
Method one. The usual medical compress
The essence is as follows. On the heel is impregnated with a small piece of cotton cloth impregnated with bile or a gauze folded six to eight times. Over the wrapped waxed paper is applied, then all this is bandaged, and a woolen toe is put on the foot in order to reliably fix the bandage. Compress should be applied before bedtime, and removed only the next morning.
After removal, the heel area is wiped with some alcohol tincture or lotion, but it does not wash. Approximately after the fifth procedure there will come the long-awaited relief, but it is not necessary to stop treatment in any case. The point is that a stable result, as already noted above, will appear only after the twentieth procedure.
Please note! In the case of long-term treatment it is desirable to repeat the course in one to two months. In this case, the course itself should not last more than one month.
The second way. Medical bile with vodka
To prepare the next compress, you will need:
- bile( 50 g);
- vodka( 20 g);
- any shampoo( 20 g).
All ingredients are mixed and applied to the diseased heel in the same way as in the previous method( bandage + waxed paper + bandage + warm sock).To obtain a more or less stable effect, this procedure should be performed at least three times. After removing the compress is not recommended to wash your foot, let the bile and smell disgusting.
The third way. Bile with pepper
The method is no different from the methods described above, but the ingredients are as follows:
- bile( large vial);
- hot red pepper( nine to ten pods);
- camphor alcohol( 200 ml).
All this is mixed in a 1-liter jar and covered with a plastic lid. By the way, you can not cut the pepper, but throw it whole. The drug is infused in a cool low-lighted place for no more than three days, after which it is filtered.
It is necessary to store the tincture in the refrigerator, but not longer than seven days - after this period, a new preparation is being prepared.
Method four. Steaming and Compression
Before going to bed, you need to steam your feet by holding them in hot water for half an hour.
Next, a piece of cotton wool soaked in bile is applied only to the diseased portion of the foot( contact with a healthy skin can cause a burn).Overlay a piece of polyethylene, after which the foot is bandaged. Then a warm sock is put on, and a person goes to bed.
In the morning the compress can be removed, but you can leave it for the whole day( you can not throw out cotton!).In the evening the leg is again steamed, the same piece of cotton wool is applied to the spur, but with a new portion of the preparation. As a rule, after two months a person recovers.
Please note! If after any of the compresses there was an allergic reaction, then under the bandage you can put a gauze folded four times.
The basic rules of treatment
- Self-medication can be harmful, so before taking the drug( even if it is sold without a prescription), you should always consult a doctor.
- Before starting treatment, it should be noted that bile not only perfectly dissolves the spurs and warms, but can also cause allergies.
- All necessary procedures must be performed daily.
- Before starting treatment for a few days, you should only walk in comfortable shoes, putting a fresh sponge under your heel. Every day you have to change the spores.
That's all. Be healthy!
