Good afternoon! I have a gestational age of 34 weeks. Yesterday was vomiting 2 times, the second time - it came rehydron solution. No diarrhea, no there was no heat. When you call an ambulance failed, calls reset possibly due to roaming. Today, everything is fine, but I worry for the child, whether the placenta protects against infection. Do I need to do something about it?
Good afternoon!
Toxemia of pregnancy - a very common phenomenon, which may occur at any stage, even in the last weeks. Just most of it is found in the first few months.
I recommend you closely monitor your health. If all goes well, there is no temperature, diarrhea, dizziness, shortness of breath, if there is no swelling of the lower limbs, no back pain or even some warning signs, then do not worry - usually a mother's condition does not affect the child.
Especially because the vomiting was twofold, not wasting, dehydration is not caused.
Just tell your doctor, who, if it deems it necessary, carry out some tests.
At this point, if you feel normal, it is not necessary to do anything. And, of course, do not worry.
Now try to eat frequently but in small portions, the food must be easily digestible and nutritious, soon to exclude acute, fat, eat more fish, vegetables, fruit.
Drink a lot, but then again, divide the total number of received liquid into small portions. Mineral drink non-carbonated water, fruit juices, herbal teas.
If suddenly re-appear vomiting, or something of the above symptoms, immediately seek medical attention. But at the moment no reason for concern.
Do not be ill!
