In this case, the temperature of the second compress should be at least 70 ° C. In this case, you need to ensure that the second compress does not come into contact with the skin, otherwise you can burn yourself. And on top you need to wrap the compresses with something warm. When the ozokerite cools down, remove everything.
• Application. It is necessary to apply ozokerite to the diseased area with a layer of 1 - 2 cm. From above it is necessary to cover with oilcloth and something warm, for example, a terry towel and a blanket.
• Cuvette-application method. The cuvette must be lined with oilcloth, pour molten ozokerite into it. When it cools down, it must be applied to the area of ​​pathology, and covered with oilcloth on top.

Composition and properties

By its chemical nature, ozokerite is a complex organic compound of hydrocarbons. The hydrocarbon content in it can range from 85% to 87%, and hydrogen from 13% to 14%.

• impurities of petroleum bitumen and oils.

The substance can be reused, but with the next procedure you need to add 25% of new ozokerite.
