- resistant;
- moderately resistant;
- sensitive.
The borderline concentration is fixed in standards recognized throughout the world and is used in clinical and microbiological research in many laboratories in developed countries.
The list of antibiotics to which a certain microorganism is sensitive (not sensitive) is called an antibioticogram. All results are displayed on it in units of MIC (Minimum Inhibitory Concentration). However, the sensitivity to antibiotics in the body can be very different from the level of sensitivity in the laboratory.
To date, new methods have not yet been created that determine the level of this concentration in the patient's body.
Culture for antibiotic sensitivity may not always correspond to the real situation, since it is determined not in an organ damaged by a disease, but in a laboratory test tube. And since the bioavailability of drugs varies significantly, the antibiotic itself may be completely ineffective in this situation.

Urine culture for antibiotics does not impose any requirements on the time of urine collection. 
Main conditions:
- so that urine is collected no earlier than after two hours of urinary retention;
- obligatory hygiene procedures (thorough washing);
- collection of urine in a sterile container with a sealed lid;
- the application of the so-called "middle stream" rule (that is, only the middle portion of the total urine released is used).
It is very important to open the container just before taking the material.
A container with a broken seal is not used for a complete analysis.
It is necessary to minimize the time interval between collection and delivery of urine to the laboratory as much as possible.
The best option is to collect urine in a laboratory room.
