What is a nevus

Melanoma can appear on the penis due to prolonged exposure to ultraviolet radiation. The greatest likelihood of melanoma with frequent visits to the solarium. Prolonged wearing of tight underwear leads to skin trauma and the transition of melanocytes from the dermis into the epidermis. A man may notice the appearance of a nevus after a frequent visit to the radiology room. X-rays are detrimental to the whole organism. If a person was in a zone of high radiation, cancer can occur. The irradiated man has a high probability of melanoma formation. The presence of infectious and viral diseases of the reproductive system provokes the exit of moles from the dermis to the upper layers of the skin of the penis. With papillomavirus, a man may have several formations at the same time.
How to get rid of nevuses

After complete cutting of the nevus, the edges of the skin are sewn with surgical threads. If the birthmark is suspected of malignancy, it is sent from the surgery to a histological examination. The patient can independently insist on histology.
Laser excision of the spot from the skin of the penis is performed using a laser beam. The method does not injure surrounding tissues, does not lead to bleeding. The surface of damaged vessels is sealed with a laser, the operating field remains dry. The laser operation takes a minimum amount of time, the patient can immediately go home. The downside of laser therapy is the complete destruction of the markings. Further histology with laser therapy is not possible.
Electrocoagulation is performed using electric waves on the tip of a surgical knife. Electrocoagulant removal of marks is the most positive method. The operating field under the influence of waves does not cover, the tissues adjacent to the mole are not injured. After excision, the tissue can be sent for histological examination.
