Suplazin - a prosthesis synovial fluid, which is used after arthrotcentesis and in the treatment of osteoarthritis. The composition of the drug includes a purified solution of sodium hyaluronate.

Pharmacological profile
The synovial fluid of the supplusin contains the active substance - hyaluronic acid, whichis a natural component of all joint tissues.
Pharmacological properties of the active component:
- hyaluronic acid is involved in the process of ensuring the full functioning of the limbs;
- active component of the drug improves mobility of the musculoskeletal system, as well as depreciation properties;
- the presence of sodium hyaluronate reduces the process of abrasion of cartilaginous tissues;

Distribution of the active component in the joint synovial fluid occurs within 2 hours. Inside the articular cartilage of its 
distribution is observed for 6 hours. The main place of localization of the active component is cartilage. The period of preservation of hyaluronic acid in the synovial fluid is 4-5 days.
Metabolisation of hyaluronic acid occurs in the liver, while it is immediately removed from the blood and rapidly destroyed in the liver.
Excretion of metabolites occurs predominantly with urine. Almost 42% of the administered dose is present in the liver approximately 24 hours after the administration.
Scope and contraindications
Suplazin is prescribed for the treatment of traumatic and degenerative lesions of the joints, namely:
- for knee and hip joint osteoarthritis;
- during treatment of osteoarthritis of any origin with or without effusion to the joint;
- during the therapy of various traumatic joint injuries, in which there is a violation of the integrity of the cartilaginous tissue;
- for the replacement of synovial fluid after the procedure of atrotenesis.
Synovial prosthesis should not be used in the presence of the following conditions:
- in the event of allergic reactions to the constituent components of the drug;
- should not be used by women during the period of gestation;
- with breastfeeding;
- for teenagers and children under 16 years.
Features of application
The drug is administered intra-articularly. The amount of solution administered depends on the size of the affected joint structure. This 
procedure is carried out once a week, a course lasting 3-6 weeks. At the same time it is allowed to replace the synovial fluid for several joints. Effective action is observed after six months of treatment.
Repeated curative therapy is usually prescribed depending on the symptomatology. If during the treatment in the joint fluid there is an accumulation of effusion, then in these cases it is recommended to reduce its amount by removing and maintaining rest, applying ice or by administering corticosteroids.
After removing the liquid, the drug based on hyaluronic acid is recommended to enter after 3 days.

During application of the synovial fluid prosthesis, the following precautions should be taken into account:

Side effects of
