  • First filtration. On the third day, the fermented mixture is filtered. To filter, you need to take a large capacity such as a pot and colander. Throw the mixture into a colander and let it drain.
  • Second filtration. The mixture remaining in the colander must be filtered again. To do this, you need to take a clean container, for example, a three-liter jar, and put the mixture in it. Then add pure boiled water, about three times the volume of the mixture, and shake thoroughly. The resulting solution is again mixed with the solution obtained from the first filtration. The remaining dense liquid in the colander is no longer required, but some use it as a starter for pancakes.
  • Treatment of the filtrate. All the liquid obtained after filtration should be drained into a glass jar. After about 20 hours, the solution begins to peel off. A light precipitate will remain below, and a semitransparent liquid at the top. The upper liquid part must be poured into a separate jar( it will be needed a little later), and the lower mixture is oat concentrate. With the help of the obtained concentrate it is possible to prepare oat jelly or to use instead of kefir for subsequent fermentation. Two tablespoons of concentrate replace half a glass of kefir. Store oat concentrate should be in the refrigerator, in small glass jars under a tight lid. The maximum shelf life should not exceed three weeks.

Preparation of a drink

To make an oatmeal at a pancreatitis, it is necessary to take ten spoons of a concentrate and to dissolve them in two glasses of cool water.
