Treatment of an allergy on the face of a child
First of all, it is necessary to eliminate the effect of allergens on the baby's body.
Equally important is the selection of an individual hypoallergenic diet for the child, with the exception of foods for which allergic reactions occur most often.
Local treatment will consist in the use of various ointments and creams containing antihistamines. When attaching a secondary infection to allergic skin inflammatory elements, it is possible to use antibacterial ointments.
Systemic treatment of allergic reactions is carried out by taking antihistamine tablets. Drugs of recent generations, such as tavegil, claritin, suprastin, cetrine and others are taken one tablet a day by the course. The course is appointed by your doctor( pediatrician or allergist). It is not recommended to perform self-treatment with these drugs, as they can cause side effects.
