Boil (if it has one) usually does not cause significant changes in the general condition of the patient, but in certain locations (on the face, nose, in the external auditory canal, the neck) the general condition may be severe: the temperature is high, pain, fever, decreased vision, voltage neck.
The disease manifests as multiple lesions boils. Skin contamination, microtrauma predispose to its development. A significant role in the origin of playing weakening the body's defenses, debilitating chronic diseases, vitamin deficiency, diabetes.
Furuncle may be single, but sometimes simultaneously or successively one after the other there are many foci of inflammation in the various areas of the skin. The development of the disease in a limited area of the body is called local boils. Sometimes there are multiple lesions, and continued with minor remissions for several years. Such a process is called chronic furunculosis.

The causes of boils
Abrasions does not develop on the skin, devoid of hair (palm and palmar surface of the fingers, soles). Most often it is observed in areas of skin exposed:
- pollution (forearm, back of the hands);
- friction (back of the neck, back, hip gluteal region).
Around the hair forms a small pustule with little inflammatory infiltrate in the form of nodules. During this period, there is a slight itching and tingling. By the end of the second day inflammatory formed hump (infiltration), the skin reddens and around the touch becomes painful. At the top of infiltration has been a slight accumulation of pus with a black dot (necrosis) in the center. Subsequently pustule breaks (at 3-7 days), and pus in the form of a rod with residues highlighted hair. The wound is cleansed and healed. At the site of inflammation is a small whitish scar.

At the beginning of inflammation good effect in the treatment of boils has iodine tincture or ointment ihtiolovaya (a patch). Also shows the use of dry heat (solljuks, UHF, blue light) - this provides an analgesic and bactericidal effect.
It is strictly forbidden:
