Duhring dermatitis - a skin disease whose cause is not clear. The disease is characterized by a prolonged course with paroxysmal appearance on the skin of the trunk and limbs in the form of an itchy rash of blisters, bubbles, grouped in rings, half rings and garlands.
More susceptible to people aged 15 to 60 years, the frequency of the peak - 30-40 years. Men get sick more often.
Symptoms of dermatitis Duhring
Signs of dermatitis Duhring - it blisters, red spots, tense blisters on edematous flushed background (May occur on the skin unmodified) with a pronounced tendency to grouping and annulare location.
Tire bubbles dense contents initially transparent and then cloudy. Bubbles may become ulcers, opened to form ulcerations on edematous background, the edge of which visible bubbles tire. On the surface ulcerations crusts under which healing occurs.
The most typical arrangement dermatitis Duhring: elbows, extensor surfaces of the forearms, 1/3 of the items appear on the face and neck, rarely affects the buttocks, knees, sacrum, back of the head.
Burning and itching can be so strong that brushing often masks the primary lesions. The general condition of patients during an exacerbation may be impaired.

Diagnostics
Diagnosis is performed dermatologists using laboratory methods and tools:
- Determination of the amount eosinophils in the blood and cystic fluid: a significant increase.
- In the study of thyroid function in 30% of all cases revealed various violations.
- The sample with iodine: forearm compress under 24 hours is applied ointment with 50% potassium iodide. With a positive sample at the site overlay ointment appear redness and rashes.
- Direct immunofluorescence reveals the accumulation of fixed immunoglobulin A.
Duhring Dermatitis Treatment
- Before treatment Duhring dermatitis patients should be evaluated for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, and malignant neoplasms.
- It shows the diet with the exception of wheat, oats, millet, barley and other cereals, as well as products containing iodine (sea fish).
- Dapsone - 100 mg 2 times a day for 5 days with 1-2-day intervals (3-5 cycles and more). After the disappearance of symptoms of disease are administered in a maintenance dose (5 mg every other day or 1-2 times per week). Dapsone Side effects include nausea, vomiting, anemia, liver damage, psychosis, allergic reactions; dapsone is incompatible with amidopirinom and barbiturates.
- Besides dapsone as sodium dimerakoptopropansulfonat applied, methionine, lipoic acid, etebenetsid, vitamins (ascorbic acid, Rutoside, vitamins of group B), antihistamines.
Course and prognosis
Duhring dermatitis during cyclical, long-term, with partial remissions of short duration; however, some patients had complete remission independent. Against the background of the therapy may cause new lesions that do not consider the indication to change the daily dose. In most patients, strict adherence to the diet causes a significant improvement, but does not reduce the need for dapsone.
